I think the issue was that I was using the Zepp Life app as I imported my model before it was available outside of China and the Smart Band 7 wasn't available in the Mi Fitness app at the time. So yea, just reset the band to find it's now available in Mi Fitness and the experience is already 100 times better. So yea thanks for the advice!
The best we can do is tell our mobile phone to forget about the Mi Band 5 within the Bluetooth connection options, so that when we link it again we have everything ready to work well. After deleting Mi Band Tool it stopped changing. No My mi band 5 is also chinese version but after i change the language to english with mi fit It never change to chinese language automatically I think you should reset your mb5 and connect to mi fit again . Alright thanks for the input. I might end up reseting it and pairing again.
